Travel day ledger: count your days in each country

Log each stay with arrival and departure dates. See days per country under two counting methods, the highest count in any 12 months, overlaps and unrecorded days.

Short answer

A day count is a record of where you were. It does not decide legal or tax residence, because most countries also weigh homes, family and economic ties. The ledger shows raw days and each recorded country's own day rule, and nothing more.

Dates are calendar dates as you record them in local time. The ledger never converts time zones, so a long flight that crosses the date line is recorded as you lived it. If a flight lands after midnight, record the local date of landing.

Planned stays are shown in their own column and in the timeline, and they are never added to actual totals or exported as presence. Unrecorded days are days up to today with no actual stay. They count for no country until you fill them.

Corrections are traceable. When you change a saved stay, the ledger records the field, the old value, the new value and the time, and the CSV export includes that history.

Where your ledger is kept

In this browser tab only, unless you tick "Keep my ledger in this browser". Then it is stored in your browser's local storage on this device, and FlagSage cannot see it. Browsers can delete local storage, private windows do not keep it, and a lost device loses it. Download a backup file you control, and restore it on any device. Clear all data removes it from the page and the browser.
